The best teams I’ve seen barely talk, and what they do say is short and clear. Everyone knows their role and trusts the others to do theirs.
Running a small studio is much the same. Someone leads on design, someone on build, someone on client communication. When roles blur, things slip. When they’re clear, projects move faster and feel calmer.
A few rules I’ve picked up: keep updates short, say what you need instead of hinting, and never assume someone else saw the problem.
The same goes for feedback. Be specific, be kind, and be quick. Waiting a week to mention something small only makes it bigger.
